ABOUT

My paintings have been described as "joyful"this I embrace as

it doesn't categorise me and it gives me the scope to paint what inspires me.

I paint in bright and colourful Acrylics and Watercolour this past year

has sent me soaring with seagulls, immersing myself in flowers and also some abstracts which are a whole new adventure.

I never start a painting with a detailed drawing preferring to adjust

and improve the composition with the paint, this works well when using Acrylics.

However Watercolour needs a different approach I paint these loosely using bleach, salt,watercolour pencils and anything

that makes a mark.

I hope my paintings reflect the joy that I get from living in the

beautiful area of North Norfolk.
